Jetty Bar/Restaurant SPORTS AND RECREATION The Grand Hotel offers guests a complete range of sports and recreational facilities.
Our Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool is set in attractive gardens with sun loungers and parasols for our guests comfort and relaxation. A smaller children's pool is situated alongside for our younger guests.
The resort is able to cater for the more energetic with comprehensive sports facilities which include three floodlight tennis courts with viewing pavilions, table tennis and various water sports which include water skiing and jet skis.
If you would rather get away from it ail why not make use of our giant terraced chess set/ or relax and take in the wonderful views of life on the River Niger.
Adjacent to The Grand Hotel lies Mungo Park which is of historical interest as it marks the spot where the first settlers arrived in Nigeria. Nnebisi Convention Centre CONFERENCE AND BANQUETING The Nnebisi Conference Hall offers a 1/000 seat capacity venue for business conferences, seminars, concerts, plays etc. The Hall has a purpose built stage and a state of the art audio visual and lighting system. Leading from the Hall are several breakout meeting rooms offering computer and internet facilities. Other meeting rooms, all with natural light, include the larger Planet Room (200 capacity), the medium sized Mungo Park Room (100 capacity) and the smaller Delta Room (60 capacity).
The Open Air Amphitheatre is able to cater for concerts and large audience events.
Our Business Centre can cater for all your needs with internet access, facsimile, photocopying and comprehensive translation facilities as well as a host of presentation aids for hire which include digital projectors, overhead projectors, slide projectors and laptop computers.
There is a strong business focus throughout the resort and as such you will always feel comfortable entertaining small or large groups of customers and associates.
Intrinsically linked with our catering and accommodation facilities, we are also able to provide for wedding parties, banquets, dinners and receptions for up to 500 guests.
THE HEALTH CENTRE At the modern and stylish Mungo Park Leisure Centre guests are offered a full range of health and beauty treatments. Our top of the range Jacuzzi includes a hydro massage. Guests can enjoy a sauna (steam bath) followed by a therapeutic massage. Professional beauticians offer relaxing facial, manicure and pedicure treatments.
We are very proud to offer the use of our "state of the art" gymnasium to all our guests. Recently completed/ the gymnasium is the largest and most modern in the country and offers a full range of the latest fitness equipment.
Our trained staff are on hand to offer advice and guidance for all the equipment and will be able to draw up a personalised programme for circuit training if required.
