It is a right of passage in Ahaba Ibokwe. Every year and in September, Asaba people go into the streets to celebtate the Ezugbo festival. This year was no different as the youths filled the streets in a war charged atmosphere to celebrate the heroics of Ancient Asaba. Not even the rain could dampen the spirit of Asaba people as they came out en masse to celebrate. Every year, this festival seem to get bigger than the year before.
