The Delta State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed the appointment of Dr Ononye Mordi as Commissioner.
Until his nomination Dr. Ononye, an Asaba native served the state as Chairman, State Hospital Management Board (HMB)
The swearing in was attended by a large crowd of friends, family and supporters.
Dr. Ononye replaces Dr. Nick Azinge who was fired last week.
