AHEAD of the 2019 general elections, Governors, National Working Committee, NWC and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP are bid to meet in Asaba today to stratagise.
Okowa Ifeanyi, Seriake Dickso, Nyesom Wike, Ayo Fayose, Udom Emmanuel, Benedict Ayade, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ibrahim Dankwambo , Dave Umahi and Darius Ishaku The meeting according to a reliable source, is broken into two segments, adding that stakeholders meeting with the PDP NWC members which likely to be attended by Governors is to hold at 2pm. The source who pleaded anonymity, said the PDP Governors would later meet NWC at 5pm.
As at time of filing this report, the National Chairman of the party, Mr Uche Secondus was being expected to arrive at the Asaba airport. Governor of Delta State, Dr IfeanyiOkowa, his Deputy Governor of Delta State, Mr Kingsley Otuaro, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Sheriff Oborevbori and other top government functionaries were at the airport waiting to receive the National leadership of the party.
